eFoodhandlers Disability and Accomodation Policy

eFoodhandlers prohibits any and all forms of discrimination against a qualified applicant or Employee on the basis of:

(a) a current disability,
(b) record of a prior disability,
(c) being perceived or regarded as disabled, or,
(d) a relationship or association with someone with a disability.

A qualified applicant or Employee is someone who can perform the essential functions of the job in question, either with or without a reasonable accommodation.

If eFoodhandlers is notified that a qualified individual with a disability requires a reasonable accommodation in order to a) participate in the application process, b) perform the essential functions of a job, or c) enjoy equal benefits and privileges of employment

eFoodhandlers will work with that person to find a reasonable accommodation unless to do so would impose an undue hardship on the operation of eFoodhandlers' business. A request for accommodations can be submitted either orally or in writing, and there are no requirements in terms of the verbiage or language used. eFoodhandlers HR Department is responsible for determining if an individual is considered “qualified” and if a “reasonable accommodation” exists.

eFoodhandlers will not tolerate any form of retaliation against an applicant or Employee on the basis of either a) a disability, b) a request for a disability accommodation, or c) participation in a complaint or investigation of disability discrimination.
